“But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, “Go,
stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.”
This passage from the upcoming message on Sunday displays that even prison doors can’t stop
the Gospel of Life from being shared. I love those last ten words of the above passage. The
angel told all the apostles to speak the words of this life. In other words, tell of what you have
observed and experienced as followers of Jesus. That’s all we are expected to do…share what
we have witnessed as believers in Christ. You don’t have to go to seminary, just share the
wonderful things that God has done in your life and the lives around you!
God’s Blessings!

“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and constant in prayer.”
Great words from St. Paul for us in the good times and the times of struggle. Jesus tells us also that in this life we will have tribulation but to be of good cheer, because He has overcome the world. So…if we think everything is always going to be easy or if someone tells us if we live or believe a certain way then life will be without challenges, we will be continually disappointed. The truth is that life is tough but that there will also be times of hope and celebration. The key to living a fulfilled, contented Christian life is summed up in the last 3 words of the quote above. Being “constant in prayer” will keep us in continual fellowship with Jesus. Abiding in Him brings forth peace and as we get better at hearing His still small voice, He will lead us throughout our day. By the way, if you just read this, send me an email at wakeuppc@gmail.com and I will send you a blessing!
Rejoicing in Hope,
