“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

One of the questions I ask myself is “how bright is my light shining in this world around me?” If I

am not connected to the Lord every day, my light can begin to grow dim, and I will not shine

very much. God has rescued me from the darkness, and my assignment is to shine so brightly

that the darkness flees when I arrive. Now, it’s not my light that shines, but rather the bright light

of Jesus Christ Who is shining through me and you! Are we like that city on a hill offering safety

to those who will follow the light to us or has our light been hidden?

Shining for Him,

Pastor Chris Yount
